Natural fire
Natural fire is feared as a destroyer and welcomed as a savior.
A threat of fire will motivate change, determining action. Fire can devour and destroy as well as temper, cleanse and process the weakest of materials into hardened tools. Fire burns, inflicts pain, destroys everything in its path, consumes the air about us and is feared by everything that lives. Fire is not biased nor understanding and has no friends and no mercy. Fire is exacting, definite and complete. Fire is a killer force that destroys the world and is capable of making a return impossible.
Yet, without fire, mankind would have died long ago.
With the help of fire mankind has produced a better world in every respect. From basic heat and cooking food to processing highly sophisticated machinery, to making simple food utensils, cars to travel, ships to cross the waters and rockets to travel the universe.
Fire produces medicines, artistic designs and culinary delights. It comforts the weary and heats the homes of every family. Fire is a miracle created by God.
Spiritual Fire
Without the Spiritual Fire, mankind would never live eternally.
Spiritual fire is feared as a destroyer and welcomed as a savior. The threat of fire baptism will motivate change, determine action. Fire baptism can devour and destroy as well as temper, cleanse and transform the weakest of souls into righteous overcomers.
Fire baptism burns, inflicts pain, destroys everything in its path, consumes the spiritual air about us and fears of failing baptism are shared in everything that lives. Fire baptism is not biased nor understanding and has no friends and no mercy. Fire baptism is exacting, definite and complete. Fire baptism can be and is a killing force that destroys worlds and can create the possibility of making a resurrection impossible.
Judgement
Spiritual fire baptism and natural fire baptism are judgemental. They are a refining process that has a risk and reward. The outcome of judgement is created by the Word of God. Spiritual fire baptism is for the just and the unjust, for the sinner and the saint. Natural fire baptism is for the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image and the Devil, death and hell and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The Process
Understanding the process of spiritual fire baptism taught within the Word of God can either give you eternal life or condemn you to everlasting death. The Word is a pathway to understanding how to please God and a guide to salvation leading mankind to life everlasting.
The term “Spiritual Fire Baptism” describes the extreme process of change each person must endure to become a follower of Jesus and a son of God. The understanding of this process is a literal explosion of awareness seeking to understand the magnitude of the concept of overcoming the world, Satan and the Old Man.
Those who spoke of Fire Baptism
John the Baptist used the term fire baptism. He would preach this baptism with great passion but without little explanation. John did preach that which Jesus would administer and preach fire baptism as a necessary component to enter
the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 3:10-12)
Jesus said he came to send fire on the earth, yet we have no evidence of fiery judgmental retribution for slaying our savior. But fiery retribution came through the preaching of the Word and rejection of it leading to the tragedy of 70 AD. (Luke 12:49)
Paul the Apostle used the same dialogue to teach the method of the Word applied to individuals through application and fine tuning our walk and lives with Jesus. (1 Corinthians 3:13)
Paul again applied this term to describe the ministry and their delivery system through the Word as fire. (Hebrews 1:7)
Paul states that God is a consuming fire and disobedience to God’s word has only one conclusion, the Lake of Fire. (Hebrews 12:29) To understand the complex meaning of this scripture you must read the whole chapter of Hebrews 12.
James tells us about our own fire which we can generate with our tongue or mind. Our iniquity, our evil desires which reveal our self-centeredness, and lead to an all consuming eternal judgement which is decided by the fire of hell which is anything other than the kingdom of Heaven. (James 3:6)
Peter wrote that the Word, though it burned and cleansed with fire, was more precious than gold tried with fire. Peter wrote that the reward for a Trial of Fire is praise, honor and glory when Jesus appears to catch away his bride (1 Peter 1:7)
Jesus captured the true meaning of gold tried in fire baptism by saying we should purchase gold tried in fire. That gold is the true understanding of the word proven by countless decades of guidance producing righteousness. The understanding of the word would then create a physical change to become rich and wear white raiment with a new body and to anoint our eyes with understanding for salvation's sake. (Revelation 3:18)
Overcoming; A Measuring Tool
To overcome is to spiritually and morally measure the soul. Is a spiritual tool which is a scaled meter of the inner man that is true and balanced without flaw. To overcome you must meet the demands of the Word of God which is called fire baptism. It is a fair balance because it is the same measurement for all to achieve. It is not based on physical or genetics or intelligence or race, greed or color.
Overcoming is the understanding of judgement from the Word of God put into action with success. Overcoming is equal opportunity for the sinner, the unbeliever, the ungodly, the backslider, the self-centered and the liar.
So is the Word of God, who is the savior and destroyer of the soul. Mankind cannot survive without God’s word and mankind will be destroyed by the same word if they fail to recognize and obey its commands. Jesus warns that any stand against the Word of God would reap the curses and judgement of the Word by fire. (Revelation 11:5)
Biblical fire is the word that wreaks catastrophic change in everything it is involved in. It is unrelenting and unstoppable with nothing to deter its ultimate outcome, consuming whatever fuel there is to attract it.
Death is a fire. (Revelation 20:14) God is a fire. (Hebrews 12:29) They judge by example.
There is a Natural Fire Baptism and a Spiritual Fire baptism. Natural fire baptism is death, Spiritual fire baptism is life in God.
Freedom of Choice
There is no freedom for mankind to live without God or without consequences. If someone never reads the Bible nor hears the Bible preached to them, that does not distance them from God's judgement. The desire to have free will and personal choice on your own terms leads to the freewill thinker’s demise. The sinner still has to endure fire baptism throughout their lives and their freewill may end with their life. There is absolutely no one who is exempt from the Word of God.
God's Word was designed to change and counteract the inevitable outcome of death by natural fire baptism.
The Word of God offers a way to endure fire and its baptism. Fire baptism can be a way to build a wall about your soul which will allow each saint the opportunity through building patience leading to eternal life.
James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good
pleasure.
The Plan of God
The Word of God is the plan of grace to save mankind's life or end their life. If mankind chooses to follow the Word of God, they will reap eternal life and if they do not follow the Word they will die eternally.
Most people will not recognize nor acknowledge a full understanding of complete perfection and the high standard of the calling that must be achieved by each saint because of their fear of failure. That fear can create the inability to succeed in what Jesus said was entirely within our capabilities to overcome. The fearful will give into stress instead of holding on to faith. Fear will continue to build into an overwhelming fire that leads to denial, disbelief and mistrust.
Just as the little child who faces water to learn to swim he is facing life or death. If the child does not learn to swim, the water will kill them.
But, if the child believes and learns to swim, the water (fire) morphs into a comforting pleasure, something to look forward to and is to be enjoyed.
Fire Baptism enables us to reach a perfect spiritual state of holiness which Jesus is and was our example. Remember the “prize” or score, is the target of overcoming called “the mark of the high calling”.
Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
A person that’s pressed their way into a higher calling is more aware and has a clearer comprehension of the demands of the Word of God. God's word allows a more defined walk with the Lord, above the standards of mankind.
The Liquid in the Cup
Overcoming people have made total sacrifices, such as leaving houses, lands, father, mother, sons and daughters to achieve what God has planned in grace. They have denied all self-centered behavior and taken on the New Man..whose eyes are fixed on Jesus.
Jesus explained fire baptism as the liquid which is poured into a cup. This liquid can be hot or cold but must be drank and never lukewarm.
Jesus said: “So then because thou art lukewarm, I will spue thee out of my mouth” Rev 3:16. Jesus taught the wife and son’s of Zebedee about the liquid in the cup in Matthew.
Mat 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
Mat 20:21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
Mat 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I
am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
Mat 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
Jesus specifically said “the cup that I drink” “Ye shall drink indeed of my cup“ and “the baptism that I am baptized with" was to live as he lived doing the Father's will. Jesus let them know that if they chose to follow his teachings, fire baptism would come in the same form as it came after him. The life he led referred to as his cup, was exactly the same type of cup that every overcomer would live in, if we drink the same living word that washes and renews our minds.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Our cup, which Jesus spoke about, is our lives. It is the joys and sufferings we endure until we die. Jesus told us in Revelation that our cup is proven by our works throughout our lives.
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Our cup and the liquid within it can be cold and refreshing or hot and comforting for the Lord. But if he finds it lacking a refreshing or comforting sensation, he will find our lives without a satisfying sensation and spue out.
Each of our cups is held together by time and chance. They are the catalyst that allows fire baptism to be brought to our doorsteps each day. Time and chance are what God uses to bring fire baptism to our lives.
Ecc 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Temperature and Heat; Everyday Life
Fire baptism is the pathway to immortality in Jesus. Fire baptism is an everyday life that everyone must endure. The temperature or degree of heat to which a person is subjected is determined by time, chance, environment, will and God.
Pro 17:3 The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts.
Isa 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
Every man and woman are created by the act of time, when they were born, and an act of chance, girl or boy normal or challenged, and who were their parents, what environment you were reared in, where they were born, what country and government, and God, whether he has a work for you to do or not (predestination), these circumstances are what is common to mankind.
Ecc 6:1 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common
among men:
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Jesus' lifestyle was different from common mankind. Everything about Jesus and his birth was predestined except for his interactions with each scenario presented to him.
Jesus chose each and every predestined circumstance of his fire baptism as a mantle of faith. Jesus' fire baptism was not like any baptism of a man born to a woman. From his birth Jesus' fire baptism led to eternal life. We too must drink of His cup to be part of His baptism to be raised through His resurrection to bewith Him in glory. We must become like him the perfect example of an overcomer. The requirements are spoken of in Ephesians 4.
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
The Measurement
Paul states that we must meet “the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" and the “perfect man” is what each overcomer must become. We must drink of Jesus' cup, we must drink of that fountain of living waters which the Word of God provides for each.
We must endure the cup which Jesus provided taking us through his fire baptism to gain eternal life.
Mat 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
We must buy the field or cup Jesus has provided because there is a treasure of eternal life hidden within. We must give up all we have to gain eternal life. The thought of it gives us joy.
Conclusion; Not Optional
Fire, both natural and spiritual, is a force of transformation and judgment. It refines, destroys, and rebuilds, shaping individuals into vessels of righteousness or condemning them to eternal separation from God. Fire baptism is not optional; it is the means through which believers are purified and prepared for eternal life. By aligning with God’s Word, enduring trials, and embracing the refining process, individuals can overcome the world and gain the prize of eternal life.
